I like to make bookmarks in batches of 100 because I offer them for free in my market booths as a way to thank visitors for stopping by. I think these poppies would be beautiful as bridal shower favors, especially for a bookish themed bridal shower.

Giving handmade is always a delight.  These little bookmarks not only are a great way to use up your watercolor scraps, but they are great to give away as treats for visitors to your maker or artist booth, as wedding or bridal shower favors, or to friends at book club.

It's always a joy to give something made from your heart with your hands. I find keeping handmade cards on hand is a great way to always have a card to use when you need one. These cards would make for great favors at a wedding or shower.  You could package them up in groups of five or six and gives as gifts. Printing invites on the backs before painting would be a cute option as well. There are lots of uses for batching cards. 

Here is an easy to follow tutorial on how I create my unique take on a modern Valentine card. These are lovely to frame and darling to gift as cards. Using untraditional colors and added floral touches set this card apart from the traditional pinks and reds you are likely to come across.  Using Olives, Indigos, and Purples allow for this card to easily enhance home decor when framed.
