Hand-painted Christmas Cards
1. I made these cards to give away at my Christmas markets this season with each purchase while they last, and it was easy to create 200 because of the simple design. Although it's simple, it's also elegant and cheerful. Think how delighted your friends and family would be to receive a hand painted watercolor card from you this Christmas. You can write on the back and tuck a family photo inside or you could print on the back and then paint if you like.
2. Are you a maker? Do you set up to sell handmade creations are markets? Make a batch of these to sell. I usually sell my hand painted original (not prints) watercolor cards at markets for $5 (oh gosh! I just realized if I sold these at a market they would be worth $1,000 because I made 200!) or 5 for $20. These are super easy to batch. These cards can be used in a couple of ways that will really help your Christmas wrapping pop this year!
5. My favorite way to use them is to punch a hole at the top and bottom and thread beautiful ribbon through the holes to attach to your wrapped packages. You can write a note on the back of the card.
6. Cut them out to create hand painted bespoke gift tags that elevate any wrapped package.
