How to Paint a Watercolor Christmas Card w/ Gift Card Slot

Elevate Gift Card Giving This Season

Let's admit it, almost everyone gives and receives gift cards these days.  And while we all appreciate and love using gift cards, there is typically something that falls a little flat with them.  They often times feel a little impersonal, or a little last minute. It's not intentional.  I believe the best of intentions are to be had.  People mean well, and they truly enjoy giving. Thankfully, it's not that difficult to add a thoughtful touch to the art of giving a gift card.  A hand painted card shows that you put a little thought and time into giving a gift card that is more personalized and charming.  They are easier to make than you might think too!

Making Them In Small Batches

Batching cards in small quantities is a great way to keep them on hand.  Adding bows and baubles to these trees give this card project a Christmasy feel, but you could leave out the golden touches too if you need a card that looks more wintry after the holiday season.  Pick and choose your own color choices to personalize them.

Just think how delighted your friends and family will be to receive a hand painted card from one of their favorite people!
