How to Make Over 100 Hand Painted Watercolor Christmas Cards

Designing a new Christmas card each year to take to Christmas Markets is always a great experience. I love creating a new design and stretching myself further each time. This Christmas wreath is layered, which means lots of drying time, so that each layer is placed in just the right way. I find myself being drawn more and more to stationary. I love painting cards, leading watercolor workshops, and sharing tutorials. I'm not sure where this will lead, but for now I hope to share a weekly tutorial (generally with watercolor) and also to list more of the cards I make on my website. It's a one woman show over here, so balancing all of the moving parts at times is a little difficult. I hope to try some new creating rhythms that should help.
Here is a satisfying view of rows of completed cards awaiting their protective sleeves.
These cards make great gift tags as well if you'd like to cut out the wreaths.
Giving handmade items is always a great way to pour a little love into your creative projects and to show your friends and family how much you care for them. Creating is a great way to relax and express yourself as well. As with all of my tutorials and projects, I hope you find a love of creating and enjoy making something with your hands. Grab a yummy cup of tea or coffee, spread out your supplies, and play with colors. Creating is finding joy in simple things.
