Christmas Gift for Teachers, Neighbors, Coworkers w/ Hand Painted Watercolor Gift Tag {TUTORIAL}

Simply Intentional Christmas Gift Idea
We enjoy giving gifts in our home, and at Christmas we always try to bless our sons' teachers with a little something special.  They always have a hand in picking out some of the details and enjoy giving their tutors a treat to enjoy over Christmas break.  I typically stick to a practical but lovely theme each year.
This year I put together beautiful mugs filled with delicious sea salt chocolate caramels.
I found these adorable mugs on Amazon. Both boys liked the pinecone mugs the best.  They also had a Christmas tree, mistletoe, a wreath, and a snowflake. I loved how they are neutral and seasonal so they coordinate well with any decor style. I think they would look great with farmhouse, cottage, boho, and modern decor. After the boys chose their mugs, they decided they wanted them filled with sea salt caramels. I purchased a 2lb container of them from Amazon, which is a very economical way to fill two mugs. I was able to fill them to the top of the mugs and we had oodles left over for the family to share.
The tissue paper and little pine branch added a festive touch. The fresh pine smelled so good!  You could fill these with all sorts of treats. You could fill them with coffee, tea bags, hot cocoa packets with marshmallows if you'd like. The ideas are endless. What's nice about these little gifts is that they are portable, practical, and festive.
The gift tags are simple to paint.  I cut out my own tags and hole punched them. I always keep a stash of these on hand. If you'd like to check out the tutorial on how I assemble this gift and paint the coordinating gift tag check out the video below.
