100 Floral Watercolor Cards

How to Paint 100 Floral Cards

It's easier than you think!

I paint batches of 100 cards for markets to gift to my customers when they make a purchase.  It's a simple way to share my appreciation to them.  I enjoy creating one design and choosing multiple colors. I find the repetitiveness of batching them soothing and relaxing.  I just let the watercolors do their thing and move on the paper with ease.

Working in Batches Helps with Drying Time

I work in color batches that give me plenty of time between colors.  The yellow flowers dry by the time I'm done with the blue ones. It's very satisfying to see them all lined up in rows on my table.  Taking short breaks between colors and moving around helps.

Batches of 100 Cards Have Many Uses

It's always a joy to give something made from your heart with your hands. I find keeping handmade cards on hand is a great way to always have a card to use when you need one. These cards would make for great favors at a wedding or shower.  You could package them up in groups of five or six and gives as gifts. Printing invites on the backs before painting would be a cute option as well. There are lots of uses for batching cards.
